We’ve all heard of La Cosa Nostra (“Our Thing”) – the Mafia’s official name for its organization. Welcome to La Vita Nostra – Our Life. At La Vita Nostra, we don’t want to provide you with a game. We want to provide you with a life. The life of a wiseguy. Or at least as close to it as a law-abiding citizen can get!

La Vita Nostra is an underworld in the making. A world in which YOU will play the role of a wiseguy. It’s not a video game. At LVN, we are not looking for gamers. We’re looking for mob geeks. People who know the history, lore, and characters of the real-world Mafia, not just movie buffs or GTA addicts. We’re looking for people who want to get as close as possible to the feel of living the life of a gangster. Our Life. La Vita Nostra.
What makes La Vita Nostra different…
There are plenty of mafia simulations on the web. But have you found any realistic ones? Probably not. What you’ll find are lots of games that brag about having millions of active players. They include silly items like weapons of mass destruction, multiple lives, do-overs, etc. Console games tend to be just as unrealistic. La Vita Nostra is designed to maximize realism. Each unique instance of the sim is strictly limited to 2,500 active participants. Of these, only around 500 are “made men.” The rest are associates, wannabes and nobodies, struggling to make connections and move up in the life. Participants live in a virtual city of several million civilians – including businesses, politicians, and marks of all kinds. Your job as a wiseguy in LVN is to become an earner. Find, plan and execute various criminal activities, such as loansharking, prostitution rings, illegal gambling, hijacking, extortion and bribery. Build connections, establish loyalty, and work your way to the top!
